The Jama Masjid, a posh building with its 36 * 1/2 meter long tower at the heart of the city, is a fine specimen of stone stone craftsmanship. It was made in 1588-89 AD by the ruler of the Pharaohus, King Ali Khan. building of the mosque meets two inscriptions in it. The first inscription is in Arabic language, in which it is mentioned that the construction of the mosque has been done by the order of the Faruq Adil Shah Faruqui, who obtained the highest achievement, the second inscription which is Urdu and Sanskrit, and the construction of the mosque. Also gives information about the genealogy of the Pharaohic rulers.
